Laurie Morningstar is a Somatic Support Facilitator, FEEL Facilitator
and Author.
She is certified in NLP, Timeline Therapy, Hypnosis, Reiki, Huna, FEEL Equine training and many more modalities, all combined to help clients with Somatic Support.
Laurie has integrated all to help you become the best version of yourself. She began her studies in 1995 and has since mastered many modalities.
Laurie has been working with clients, releasing low vibrating emotions easily without the story for over 20 years, helping people from many countries around the world.
Laurie has First Responders in her family, past and present as well as past Military.
After reconnecting with Barry Drews and helping him with his own healing and learning of all the good work Barry has been doing with Military, First Responders and Silver Cross Families, they thought it would be a great idea to utilize her work to help them heal the trauma that most suffer from. Thus, Healing Hero's was born.
Laurie sits on the committee for the 9/11 Memorial Ride.
August 27, 2023 Laurie was Knighted as a Field Dame in the Order of St George.

Emotional Breathwork utilizes Somatic Support
The following is from the Harvard Health Publishing via Harvard Medical School
Most people likely haven't heard of somatic therapy, says Amanda Baker, director of the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders and a clinical psychologist in the department of psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. Unlike other mind-body approaches such as mindfulness meditation, mind-body stress reduction (MBSR), and mindfulness and self-compassion (MSC) — which are steadily growing in use — somatic therapy hasn't hit the mainstream.
What's the fundamental concept? "It's a treatment focusing on the body and how emotions appear within the body," Baker explains. "Somatic therapies posit that our body holds and expresses experiences and emotions, and traumatic events or unresolved emotional issues can become 'trapped' inside."
Since disturbing feelings often show up in the body in debilitating ways, somatic therapy aims to drain those emotions of their power, relieving pain and other manifestations of stress, such as disrupted sleep or an inability to concentrate.
These types of emotions can stem from a variety of conditions and circumstances that somatic therapy may potentially help alleviate. They include
Somatic Support Breathwork is a very different simple approach to create stability and state control that I've created over 20 years of my practice.
Healing Heros has created 2-hour workshops delivered every other week for 5 times to clear emotions and teach you how to maintain state control at all times. Based on groups of 10 participants, 3 hours for more than 10 participants.

Canadian Walk for Veterans
"Heroes of the Homefront"
When a member serves in the Military, the entire family serves as well. Families play a critical role in enhancing the wellbeing of Military personnel and Veterans. particularly those with service-related conditions. Important as they are to the wellbeing of Military members and Veterans, the families face challenges too. Constant awareness of the potential dangers faced by their serving parent, spouse or child, caring for members or Veterans with service-related conditions, geographical moves and transitioning out of Military life all present challenges and require sacrifices by members of Military families. The 2023 Canadian Walk for Veterans pays tribute to these "Heroes of the Homefront."

Lieutenant-Colonel (retired)
Laurie is one of the best counsellors I have ever been served by. She is gifted and skilled in the role, using her genuine, compassionate and humble nature to initially garner trust. This was followed by application of her great knowledge and experience with trauma and gently investigating the consequent emotions and limiting behaviors. Identification and discussion of these dark areas with her guidance empowered me with the self-awareness and emotional intelligence, to not only manage myself independently but also communicate more reasonably with my supports of other medical service providers, family and friends. But that's not all. A particular bonus and differentiator of Laurie was my finding her spirituality wise that resulted in my re-discovery of both inner peace and the beauty of life.
So, I whole-heartedly recommend Laurie and wish you the best on your own healing journey.
Sincerely Submitted, Doug Poitras
Firefighter
I'm a retired firefighter after a 32-year career. Mental health was not understood in the early years and losing my daughter and dealing with a family members drug addiction added to everything.
I tried conventional counselors including the BCPFFA approved 'culturally aware' ones. I always found that 45–50-minute sessions didn't work, especially when starting over. You barely rehash it and it's time to rebook. I have tried EMDR and a few other techniques with no noticeable results.
Box breathing was awkward for me and Laurie had me do a simple 4 second in through the nose and 8 out through the mouth. Easy to remember!
The 2-hour session was perfect, after going over some issues, her process started. I've always had an open mind and will try anything. It definitely sounded different but not long afterwards I felt differently and had no triggers. I had another session booked with a counselor and almost cancelled but decided to go. It confirmed again that 50 minutes just wasn't enough.
I highly recommend giving Laurie an opportunity to help you.

CrossFit Success
I would like to express my gratitude to Laurie for helping me with my clarity and focus during one of the CrossFit Masters qualifier workouts. When the four CrossFit Masters qualifier workouts were announced in April 2018, a skill in one of the workouts was something I was struggling with. Prior to the workout I was overcome with anxiety and fear, doubting my abilities. In the past this skill had been my greatest strength, however the measurement standards were changed leaving me with a mechanical disadvantage. Laurie was able to help me clear the mental blocks I put in the way of my own success. I went into the workout with razor sharp focus and no stress. It was a little odd to be so focused and to have very little nervous tension. I was very pleased with the outcome as I qualified for the 2018 CrossFit Games.
Thank you so much Laurie, I will definitely be contacting you before my next competition.
Sincerely,
Jolaine Undershute

Massive Liberator
Laurie's Emotional Alchemy practice has been effective as a massive liberator of my old wounds and traumas. I lend the effectiveness of this practice to the fact I was willing to go that deep through the gateway of breath, however also because Laurie was the rock-solid facilitator there with the energy of the ancestors assisting. Having personally dealt with negative influences and other dimensional entities, I could see that my unhealed emotional body was attracting people, situations and other things that resonated with that wounding. Laurie is one of the most capable healers I know to date who has the experience, where with all and love in her heart to responsibly and honorably help us dispose of that which does not serve us. She helps us come into who we are beyond our story and into our divine intended nature. Laurie is balanced, humble and sincerely trusted in my highest regard.

180 Degree Turn
Laurie Morningstar, you are such a beautiful gift to me and the world! There are no words that can express my happiness and thankfulness for the life changing results that we achieved together through your very loving and expert guidance.
I was in a very dark place and had not been doing the best job of working through some very difficult challenges on my own. After one session with you, my entire life has taken a 180-degree turn. The anxiety and panic attacks are gone, and my self-confidence has re-appeared. Life is good and flowing in the right direction. I am excited to see what happens next.
